The VH1 Save the Music Foundation 10th Anniversary Gala

On September 20th, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation will mark ten years of restoring music education programs in more than 1,500 United States public schools with a Gala celebration at the Tent at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The celebration pays tribute to many who have helped contribute to the cause including:Former President Bill Clinton, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, VH1 Save The Music founder John Sykes, Mariah Carey and NAMM, The International Music Products Association. In addition, a group of students from VH1 Save The Music grant recipient schools across the country will play together for the first time as an all-student orchestra, demonstrating the impact of the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.
Dave will be performing with Roger Waters at the event, where they will play a Pink Floyd song along with an all student orchestra and choir. The students are drawn from grant recipient schools from across the States, demonstrating the impact of the foundation. Other performers include Jon Bon Jovi and John Mayer.
